Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite feels like a return to the series’ clean arena shooting, with fast movement, readable weapons, and a campaign that leans hard on mobility and exploration. By our assessment, its best quality is the way the grappleshot changes pacing: fights become more vertical, and getting around the map is more agile than in older Halo games. The downside is that the campaign world is broader than its mission structure, so some stretches can feel sparse compared with the best-known older entries. In practice it is about aiming, repositioning, and learning when to push with shields up and when to reset. Against other big shooters, it sits closer to classic Halo combat than to open-world sprawl. Halo Infinite is strongest for players who want the familiar series rhythm with a modern movement tool, and it is less compelling if the campaign needs constant novelty.
