HIT stands on a simple action-RPG idea: you chase loot, improve a hero, and move through the usual loop of fights and progression. By our assessment, that makes it easy to understand at a glance, but also places it in a crowded field where it needs a clear hook to stand out. The upside of that kind of game is the familiar rhythm of combat and character growth; the downside is that it can feel generic if the systems do not give you a distinct twist.
