Gunscape

Gunscape is a blocky first-person shooter that leans hard on user-made levels and simple map building, so it is really for people who like making little arenas as much as running through them. By our assessment, its real strength is the creation side: quick construction tools, a retro shooter feel, and the chance to string together multiplayer spaces without much ceremony. That same openness is also the limit, because a game built around community content lives or dies on what people create for it. In practice it feels looser and rougher than a polished single-player shooter, with more tinkering than campaign momentum. It sits closer to a sandbox shooter toolset than to a full story FPS, and it is mostly for players who enjoy editing as much as shooting.
