Grow Up

Grow Up is all about climbing, gliding, and nudging a tiny robot through a loose, vertical world, so the minute-to-minute play is more about finding routes than fighting anything. By our assessment, it works best as a light exploration game: the movement tools are simple, the camera and platforming can feel a bit fiddly, and the pleasure comes from watching the map open up piece by piece. It is not a precision platformer in the hard-edged sense; the challenge sits in planning a path and keeping your balance on odd shapes. In practice that means a lot of hopping between leaves, ledges, and floating scraps until the next good line appears. Grow Up sits closer to relaxed traversal games than to strict obstacle courses, and that makes it more forgiving than it first looks. It will suit players who enjoy wandering, collecting, and improvising a route, while people wanting sharp combat or tight speedrun-style control will likely bounce off it.
