Gomo is a small point-and-click adventure that leans on odd art, strange little tasks, and a very specific dreamlike mood. By our assessment, its real strength is character: it does not look or move like a standard cartoon adventure, so it stands out immediately. The limit is that this kind of puzzle design can be opaque, and some players will spend more time poking at objects than feeling clever. In practice the game is about exploring screens, collecting bits, and reading the logic of a weird world piece by piece. It sits nearer to niche adventure games than to mainstream puzzle hits, which is part of why it has a cultish feel. Gomo is the sort of game that values atmosphere and peculiar structure over speed, and it never pretends otherwise.
