Going Under

Going Under gets its energy from making office-life frustration into fast, messy combat, and that gives it a sharper identity than a plain dungeon crawler. By our assessment, its main strength is the concept: corporate ruins, absurd startup culture, and a roguelike loop that keeps the pace brisk while swapping in new weapons and rooms. The trade-off is familiar too, because roguelikes can become repetitive when the run structure starts to dominate everything else. In practice the game is about quick decisions, dodging, improvising with junk, and laughing at the corporate nonsense while still trying to survive the room. Compared with slower action-adventure games, Going Under is more chaotic and more joke-forward, but it still asks for solid reflexes and patience with restart-heavy play. It is a good fit for players who like roguelites with personality; if repeated runs and slapstick office satire sound tiring, this is not the right stop.
