Goetia is built around exploration and point-and-click puzzle solving, with a gothic house and its rooms doing most of the mood work. By our assessment, it is for players who like wandering, backtracking, and slowly piecing together how a space is wired. The strongest part is the atmosphere, because the setting carries more weight than loud set pieces or fast pacing. The downside is familiar to this kind of adventure: puzzles can stall progress, and a slow, opaque structure asks for patience. In practice it feels like moving through locked doors, odd objects, and careful note-keeping, where the map is often less important than memory. It stands as a moody indie adventure rather than a broad action game, and that narrower aim is what it commits to.
