Gamecraft

Gamecraft suggests a builder or creation game, the sort of thing players pick up when they want to make systems rather than just follow them. By our assessment, the main attraction would be authorship: placing pieces, shaping rules, and watching a custom setup behave in real time. That is rewarding when the tools are clear, because a good creation game lets small decisions snowball into something personal. The honest downside is that this genre can become fiddly fast, especially if menus, parts, or logic layers get in the way of the fun. Gamecraft sounds like it belongs in the sandbox-and-editor space rather than the action space, and that means patience matters more than reflexes. It would suit players who like building and testing; anyone wanting instant spectacle is likely to bounce off it.
