GRAVEN

GRAVEN asks for patience, because it is a first-person action game that mixes dungeon crawling, spells, weapons, and careful exploration instead of nonstop rush. By our assessment, that blend is the point: it aims at players who want a harsher, old-school fantasy mood with real attention to timing, positioning, and resource use. The strongest thing about it is how strongly it commits to atmosphere and to the feel of moving through hostile spaces, which gives the game more identity than a plain shooter. The downside is that this sort of deliberate pace can feel demanding, especially when the player wants instant feedback or a cleaner combat rhythm. In practice, GRAVEN looks like a game where watching the room matters as much as fighting in it, and where spells and tools are part of the puzzle rather than decoration. Compared with simpler dungeon crawlers, it is more committed to action and immersion; compared with pure shooters, it is slower and stranger. It suits people who like methodical fantasy combat and do not mind learning its pace, and the inventory and movement alone already tell you this is not a casual click-through.
