Full Metal Furies

Full Metal Furies is a side-scrolling action game built around co-op brawling, character switching, and punching through enemy-heavy stages with a cast that covers different roles. By our assessment, its best quality is how it makes multiplayer coordination feel active instead of decorative; the combat asks players to cover one another and use each fighter's tools well. The trade-off is that the game is less interesting when played like a simple solo beat-'em-up, because part of its shape comes from mixing abilities on the fly. In practice it has the busy, readable feel of a modern arcade brawler, with more structure than a pure button-masher. It sits between old-school action and team-focused co-op, and Full Metal Furies makes the most sense for groups that like real coordination rather than just sharing a screen.
