Force of Nature asks for the kind of patience that comes with survival-crafting games: gathering, building, fighting, and keeping your base and tools in shape while the world keeps throwing chores back at you. By our assessment, that loop is the point, and the appeal is in starting small and slowly turning raw surroundings into a working camp, with exploration and resource management doing most of the work. The downside is the familiar one for the genre: if gathering, inventory juggling, and maintenance do not sound relaxing, the game can feel like errands with monsters nearby. In practice it is a mix of combat, crafting, farming, and light automation, so progress comes from routine more than drama. It sits alongside the many indie survival sandboxes that borrow from Minecraft-like structure, and it is for players who like steady upkeep more than scripted adventure.
