Forbidden Planet

Forbidden Planet is a name that has been used for different games, and that already tells you the problem: it does not point to one instantly legible, widely documented standout. By our assessment, the safest read is that this is a modestly known game title rather than a fixed mainstream benchmark, so there is not much durable substance to build on. That makes it hard to praise in detail, but also hard to attack fairly. What remains is the plain fact that it sits in the crowded middle of game names people may recognize without a clear picture of the play itself. Forbidden Planet is the sort of item that needs more context than the title alone gives.
