Florence

Florence is a small narrative game built for players who want a short, quiet story instead of combat or systems to master. By our assessment, its real strength is how it uses simple interaction to make ordinary moments feel specific: moving, tapping, and arranging little scenes does a lot of the work. The downside is baked in too, because the whole thing is brief and narrow in mechanics, so anyone expecting a long campaign or deep replay value will hit its ceiling fast. In practice it feels like a delicate phone-style story where the controls stay light and the emotion comes from pacing rather than challenge. It sits well among modern indie narrative games, especially the ones that use touch-friendly design and minimal text. Florence is best for someone who wants a concentrated story told through interaction, and not for someone looking for a traditional game loop or heavy decision trees.
