Flick Home Run ! is a simple baseball-style game built around one motion: flick the ball and try to send it far. By our assessment, that directness is the point, because it strips the sport down to timing, angle, and a quick hit of satisfaction. The downside is also obvious, since a game built on a single gesture can run out of variety once the novelty fades. In practice it is the kind of game people open for a short burst rather than for a long session, and the controls matter more than any elaborate rule set. Compared with full baseball games, Flick Home Run ! is a lightweight arcade take, not a simulation.
