Flat Heroes turns platforming into a clean co-op test of movement, timing, and shared attention. By our assessment, its best quality is how readable it stays: the characters are simple shapes, the hazards are plain, and every room is built so players can understand danger at a glance. That clarity makes the local multiplayer work well, especially when several people are trying to survive the same tight space. The limit is that the visual idea is deliberately minimal, so if someone wants spectacle or a rich world, this will feel spare. In practice it is quick to grasp, then steadily more demanding as the stages push coordination and timing. It sits closer to a focused couch game than to a sprawling platformer, and it is the kind of title that becomes better the more a group enjoys talking over each other while trying not to fall apart.
