Flambé®: Merge and Cook is a merge puzzle with a kitchen coat of paint, so the core audience is people who enjoy dragging items together to unlock better ones. By our assessment, the obvious strength is the simple loop: combine, collect, unlock, repeat. The limit is equally obvious, because merge games live or die on how much patience you have for sorting grids and waiting for the next useful piece. In play, that means a lot of small housekeeping and a slow trickle of progress, which can be calming or tedious depending on taste. It sits with the many mobile merge games that borrow restaurant or cooking themes, and the name says the trade plainly enough: food dressing over a familiar puzzle structure.
