Fishy

Fishy is the kind of simple arcade game people reach for when they want short sessions and a clear goal: grow the fish, avoid bigger predators, and keep moving. By our assessment, its appeal is the clean loop at the center of it, where quick decisions matter more than setup and the rules are easy to read at a glance. The limit is also the point: once that loop has been understood, there is not much room for surprise or long-term depth. In practice it tends to be brisk, readable, and a little relentless, which suits a pick-up-and-play format. Compared with fuller fish-eat-fish games, Fishy sounds and plays like the stripped-down version. It works best as a light arcade diversion, and it is not trying to be anything more elaborate than that.
