Fingered

Fingered stands out mainly because the premise is blunt and the play is built around reading people and making accusations, which is a very different mood from a normal mystery game. By our assessment, that narrowness is both its point and its ceiling: the idea can be sharp and funny for a while, but it does not have the sprawl of a big detective puzzle. In practice it is the sort of game that turns on interpretation, misdirection, and short bursts of decision-making rather than long systems. It sits closer to a party or deduction game than to a full-blooded adventure. That means the appeal is immediate but limited, and once the joke or hook is understood, the remaining depth has to carry the rest. Fingered is for players who want a quick, oddball social-deduction twist, not for anyone expecting a long or especially layered mystery.
