Finding Paradise

Finding Paradise is a story-driven adventure game that follows the same idea as a quiet, text-heavy memory puzzle: you move through a life by revisiting moments and deciding what matters. By our assessment, its strength is emotional structure, because it uses simple interaction to support a thoughtful story instead of trying to dazzle with mechanics. The trade-off is that the play side is deliberately light, so anyone looking for puzzles that demand real mechanical skill will find very little resistance. In practice it reads like an interactive novel with a few game-like steps between scenes, which makes the pacing calm and the focus narrow. Compared with more elaborate adventure games, it stands out for caring more about feelings and recall than about challenge. It is a good fit for players who want a narrative experience and a poor fit for people who mainly want action or systems. The title says exactly what it aims at: a search for closure, not a toolbox of tricks.
