Fantasy General II

Fantasy General II is a turn-based strategy game for people who like armies, terrain, and the slow work of building a winning position. By our assessment, its strongest point is the tactical map play: unit placement, movement range, and resource decisions matter in a way that makes each turn feel deliberate. The trade-off is that it asks for patience, because this is not a fast skirmish game and it does not hide the cost of mistakes. In practice it has the measured feel of moving pieces on a large board, with battles that reward planning more than reflexes. Compared with flashier strategy titles, it is more classical and less theatrical, and that gives it a clear identity. Fantasy General II is a good fit for players who enjoy methodical turn-by-turn warfare and do not mind a slower pace on the campaign map.
