Fallout 4 VR

Fallout 4 VR turns a familiar open-world shooter into something more physical, where looting, aiming, and scavenging all ask for head movement and hand placement instead of a flat-screen glance. By our assessment, its best trick is not that it becomes a different game, but that it makes the old Fallout loop feel more immediate inside a headset. The downside is also clear: a long RPG built for conventional controls can feel fussy in VR, especially when menus, inventory work, and comfort demands get in the way. In practice it is less about polish than about presence, with all the shooting, crafting, and wandering through ruined spaces landing closer to the player’s body. It sits in a narrow space between full VR showpieces and plain ports, and that middle position explains both its appeal and its friction. Fallout 4 VR is strongest for people who already like Bethesda-style exploration and do not mind a heavier, more hands-on version of it.
