FAR: Changing Tides

FAR: Changing Tides asks for patience in a way many games do not. By our assessment, its strength is the quiet ship-and-sail rhythm: you keep a vehicle alive, tend its systems, and move through flooded ruins at a deliberate pace. The trade-off is that this is not a rush of puzzles or combat, and anyone wanting constant escalation will feel the slowdown quickly. In practice it is more about mood, traversal, and small physical actions than about big systems, so every lever and step matters a little. It sits close to the earlier FAR game, but it stands on its own as a slower, more meditative journey. That makes FAR: Changing Tides a good pick for players who want atmosphere and a gentle sense of motion, not a game that keeps throwing new tricks at them.
