F1 Manager 2023

F1 Manager 2023 is all about the long, fussy side of Formula 1: strategy calls, tire wear, pit windows, driver morale, car development, and the slow pressure of race management rather than wheel-to-wheel driving. By our assessment, it is for people who enjoy steering a team from the pit wall instead of chasing apexes on the track. Its real strength is the sense of operating inside the sport’s decision layer, where one good call or one bad one changes the whole race weekend. The downside is that this is still management, so the pleasure comes with menus, numbers, and a lot of waiting for plans to play out. In practice it feels closer to running a live spreadsheet with race drama attached than to playing an arcade racer. It sits above casual motorsport games in depth and below the most obsessive full-sim management systems in sheer complexity, and the 2023 tag is just part of the title.
