F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch

F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch stands out as a side-scrolling action game that mixes heavy mechanical fists, platforming, and Metroidvania-style backtracking. By our assessment, it is strongest when you are threading through tight industrial spaces, learning shortcuts, and timing combat around a character that feels built to hit hard rather than dance. The trade-off is that this kind of game asks for patience with repeated routes and a fair amount of map-reading, because progress often comes from revisiting old areas with new tools. In practice, that gives it a slower, more deliberate rhythm than a pure brawler, with a lot of emphasis on movement, locks, and new access points. It sits between flashy action and exploration-heavy design, closer to modern Metroidvania games than to a straight run-and-punch platformer. The result is a solid pick for players who like structure and traversal as much as combat.
