Evolvation

Evolvation is a small space-shooter built around dogfights, upgrades, and the usual loop of chasing targets in open space. By our assessment, that directness is its best trait: it gets to the shooting quickly and keeps the attention on movement rather than on systems piled up around it. The limit is just as clear, because a stripped-down space game can start to feel thin once the basic loop is understood, and it does not pretend to be a grand simulation. In practice it should feel like a lightweight arena shooter in space, with quick turns and simple pressure rather than elaborate missions. Against bigger, more famous shooters, Evolvation sits at the modest end of the scale and seems built for straightforward action instead of depth. It is fine for players who want an uncomplicated space skirmish, and it is not the place for anyone expecting a dense campaign or complex progression.
