Evil Inside - Prologue is the sort of horror piece that exists to set a mood quickly and leave before it overexplains itself. By our assessment, that makes it useful mainly as a brief tease: narrow spaces, jumpy tension, and a first-person setup that keeps the player close to the threat. The limitation is obvious, because a prologue by design gives only a slice of the full idea, so there is not much room for systems or variety. In practice it is all about pacing and atmosphere rather than complex play. It sits with the many small horror starters that aim to hook you on tone first and mechanics second. The name makes the purpose plain enough, and the ending is less a full meal than a sample of the larger dish.
