Erzurum

Erzurum sounds like a survival game that leans on cold, distance, and the ordinary struggle to keep moving, which is already the core appeal of the genre. By our assessment, its job is not to shower the player with systems but to make survival feel plain and exposed, with the landscape itself doing much of the pressure. That can be a strength when the mood lands, because sparse survival games often work by stripping away comfort and leaving only basic needs. The trade-off is that a small, harsh setup can also feel thin if the world does not keep offering new reasons to care. In practice this kind of game asks for caution, resource awareness, and tolerance for quiet stretches. It sits closer to austere survival titles than to broad open-world adventure, and the appeal is narrower for that reason. Erzurum will speak most clearly to players who want bleak survival as the point, not as decoration.
