Edge of Space

Edge of Space sounds like a survival game set in a hostile frontier, and that kind of setup usually lives on crafting, exploration, and the pressure of keeping the character alive. By our assessment, the appeal is the sense of moving into uncertainty and making do with limited tools, which can be very satisfying when the systems are clear. The obvious limit is that survival games often repeat their chores, so the early tension has to carry the rest or the routine starts to show. In play, that means watching resources, learning the terrain, and accepting that progress comes in cautious steps. Edge of Space belongs with other survival-crafting games rather than with action-heavy shooters, and it makes most sense for players who enjoy gathering, managing, and gradually pushing outward.
