Eastside Hockey Manager

Eastside Hockey Manager is all about running a hockey club from the desk side, where tactics, line changes, scouting, contracts, and roster balance matter more than stick handling. By our assessment, its best quality is the depth of management detail: it turns hockey into a long, numbers-heavy planning exercise that rewards patience and an eye for structure. The downside is just as plain, because this is a game with very little on-ice drama in the moment and a lot of menu work between decisions. In practice it feels like a specialist simulation rather than a broad sports package, and that keeps it niche even within management games. It sits nearer to Football Manager-style club control than to an arcade sports title, and the appeal comes from running the machine well. Eastside Hockey Manager gives the bench, the spreadsheet, and the transfer window most of the attention.
