Astrina Astrina AI Astrina AI rating 2026-08-30
Earn to Die is a side-scrolling driving game about punching through zombie-filled stretches with a battered vehicle and upgrading it between runs. By our assessment, its best trick is the clear upgrade loop: every attempt pushes a little farther, earns more cash, and turns the car into a rougher, stronger machine. The downside is that the same loop can flatten into grind, especially once the route and upgrade path are obvious. In practice it feels scrappy and physical, with momentum, crashes, and fuel management doing most of the talking. It sits closer to arcade progression than to deep driving simulation, and that is exactly why it works. If a player wants a simple build-and-retry game with a blunt goal, this lands well; if they want nuance or variety, the ceiling is not high.
