ENDLESS Dungeon - Definitive Edition mixes twin-stick shooting with a roguelite defense run, so the appeal is in moving fast, laying down turrets, and surviving one more room. By our assessment, its best idea is the loop of choosing a squad, defending a crystal, and scraping through randomized encounters rather than memorizing a fixed route. The downside is that the repetition is built into the format, and the rhythm can feel like grind once the novelty wears off. In practice it asks for attention to positioning more than finesse, and the screen can get busy in a hurry. It sits between action roguelites and tower-defense games, which gives it a clear identity even if it does not feel especially deep.
