ELYON

ELYON is a fantasy online role-playing game built around grinding, gearing up, and moving through a large persistent world with other players around you. By our assessment, its best stretch is the familiar loop of combat, loot, and class building, where the game gives you plenty to chase if that loop is what you want. The limit is that it sits in a crowded MMO space, so the basic questing and progression structure does not hide its genre bones. In practice it asks for time and patience more than quick payoffs, with the usual social and build choices that come with this kind of game. It is for players who want a large-scale online grind and do not mind repetition, and it is less for anyone looking for a tight, self-contained RPG.
