EL PASO, NIGHTMARE

EL PASO, NIGHTMARE aims at people who want a short, grim shooter with horror flavor rather than a large, polished campaign. By our assessment, its appeal is the simple one: it goes straight for mood, monster pressure, and a hard-edged pulp tone instead of trying to be broad or pretty. The trade-off is that this kind of game can feel narrow if you want varied systems or a long arc with a lot of texture. In practice it is the sort of game that depends on repetition, movement, and staying alert while the screen keeps throwing danger at you. It sits closer to compact indie horror action than to big-budget shooters, and it is not pretending to be anything else. People who want a small dose of intensity may find enough here; players looking for deep combat design or a rich world probably will not.
