Dying Light: Bad Blood takes the parkour-and-melee setup of Dying Light and pushes it toward a more competitive survival format, so it naturally speaks to people who like movement, scavenging and sudden pressure. By our assessment, the interesting part is the collision of free-running with last-person-standing tension, which gives the genre a faster and rougher feel. The drawback is that this spin-off idea is narrower than the mainline series, so it depends heavily on whether that specific loop grabs you. In practice it is about quick decisions, close calls and learning the map fast. Dying Light: Bad Blood sits as an offshoot, not a replacement, for the larger Dying Light games.
