Duskers

Duskers asks for attention in a very specific way: you sit at a terminal, send drones into dark derelicts, and read the ship through text, sound, and camera feeds rather than through direct control. By our assessment, that stripped-down setup is exactly why it works, because every little command feels tense and every mistake can leave a drone stranded in the dark. The obvious limit is that the interface stays intentionally sparse, so anyone wanting spectacle, direct action, or a busier strategy layer may bounce off it. In practice it feels like remote salvage work with a lot of silence between bursts of panic. Against other strategy or roguelike games, Duskers stands out by turning exploration into something closer to cautious systems management than combat. It is best for players who enjoy problem-solving under pressure and do not mind learning a narrow, demanding interface. The ceiling is not friendliness but precision, and that is the point.
