Durka Simulator

Durka Simulator stands out less for polish than for the blunt social joke in its name and premise, so it is the sort of game people notice first as a curiosity. By our assessment, that also means the appeal is narrow: it works best if the joke itself is enough and you are not expecting a deep simulation model. The upside of that kind of thing is immediate recognition; the downside is that the joke has to carry most of the weight, and once it lands or misses there is not much else to lean on. In practice, a title like this tends to be fast to understand and easy to sample, with little patience required. Compared with serious life sims or management games, it is closer to a gag than a system, and the name already tells you the tone. Durka Simulator is one of those games where the concept does most of the talking.
