Dungeons 2 is a real-time strategy game built around running a dungeon from the evil side, with base building, resource juggling, and battlefield skirmishes that push you to manage several layers at once. By our assessment, its strongest point is the idea of mixing underground management with direct control over the fight outside, so it has more personality than a plain fantasy RTS. The weak spot is that the comedy tone and the busy interface can wear thin if you want something lean or serious. In practice it asks for attention to little systems rather than big grand moves, and the pace can feel more fiddly than elegant. It sits closer to a parody of dungeon strategy than to a clean classic, which is part of the appeal. Dungeons 2 works best when you want minions, traps, and skirmishes all at once, not when you want a calm build-and-expand game.
