Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers

Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers is an odd deck-builder at heart, and that is the interesting part: it frames gambling, not swords or spells, as the thing you are managing. By our assessment, the appeal comes from pushing luck against rules that can twist a familiar card-game loop into something tense and a little nasty. The downside of that idea is that it can lean hard on the joke of the premise, so the surface charm matters a lot when the mechanics are all you are staring at. In play, games like this usually reward careful reading, risk control, and the willingness to lose a run because one bad call snowballed. It sits somewhere between a roguelike card game and a satire of casino habits, which makes it less clean than a standard battler but more distinctive. Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers suits people who like card games with attitude and do not mind a theme that keeps poking at the same wound.
