Dungeonmans

Dungeonmans is a party-based roguelike for players who enjoy building a roster of adventurers and sending them into dangerous dungeon runs. Its appeal comes from the mix of tactical turn-by-turn combat, class variety, and the way losses can feed back into the wider campaign. By our assessment, it has a cheerful, old-fashioned dungeon-crawling feel without pretending to be sleek or minimalist. The honest downside is that the systems can look busy, and the game asks for some patience before the humor and progression loop settle in. In practice it is a lot of menus, character growth, and careful position play between runs, with the dungeon fights doing most of the work. Compared with leaner roguelikes, it is more sprawling and more personality-driven, but also less immediate. Dungeonmans suits players who like a comic fantasy wrapper around real mechanical depth and do not mind learning its structure.
