Dungeon Warfare 2

By our assessment, Dungeon Warfare 2 is a tower-defense game for people who like building kill zones and then tuning them until the map becomes a little machine. Its best side is the dense web of traps, upgrades, and choke points, which gives each stage a puzzle feel rather than a simple line of defense. The trade-off is that it lives on repetition: you place, test, adjust, and try again, so the pleasure comes from tinkering more than from spectacle. In practice it feels careful and a bit mean, with enemies funneled into space that you have turned against them. It sits closer to a pure strategy puzzle than to a relaxed defense game, and the number in the title is simply part of the name, not a promise of reinvention.
