Drakensang

Drakensang is a name that sits in classic fantasy role-playing, and that means party management, quests, combat, and a lot of attention to character build. By our assessment, its appeal is strongest for players who like the slower, rule-aware style of computer RPGs rather than flashy action. The good part of that sort of game is the sense of structure: skills, gear, and party choices matter, and progress feels earned through systems rather than spectacle. The trade-off is pace, because this kind of RPG often asks for reading, planning, and patience before it really opens up. In practice it tends to reward careful choices and familiarity with fantasy mechanics, which makes it satisfying for some and a bit heavy for others. Compared with action-heavy fantasy games, Drakensang is more about numbers, menus, and deliberate fights than about speed. It is a fit for people who want a traditional computer RPG shape, and less so for anyone looking for a quick story or constant motion.
