Dragon Saga

Dragon Saga leans on side-scrolling MMO routine: quests, grinding, class progression, and the familiar rhythm of moving through zones with a party or a crowd. By our assessment, its best trait is that steady old-school structure, which makes it easy to understand the minute-to-minute loop if you already know this kind of game. The downside is equally familiar, because that structure can feel repetitive and very dependent on whether the combat and social scene hold your attention. In practice it is the sort of game where the real texture comes from repeated runs, character growth, and the old online habit of doing a lot of the same thing for a long stretch. It sits in the long line of side-scrolling fantasy MMOs rather than trying to replace them. That means it suits players who want a classic grind-and-level rhythm, and not people who need fresh systems every hour.
