Dragon Hills

Dragon Hills is a side-scrolling action game built around one simple pleasure: sending a dragon through terrain, buildings, and armies in a straight, destructive run. By our assessment, it works because the controls stay direct and the pace stays brisk, so the whole thing reads quickly in short sessions. The downside is also the point: once the wrecking pattern is understood, the loop can start to feel samey. In practice it is a game of timing and momentum more than finesse, with a comic, arcade feel rather than depth. Compared with bigger action games, it is lighter and more immediate, and that is exactly its niche. It fits players who want a fast burst of destruction, not people looking for a long tactical system.
