Dragon Age Inquisition

Dragon Age Inquisition is the kind of large fantasy RPG that asks for a lot of map-clearing, party management, and patience with BioWare-style dialogue trees. By our assessment, it does well at party banter, companion quests, and the sense of moving across a big world with forts, camps, and political factions pulling in different directions. The trade-off is bloat: some zones feel overstuffed with errands, and the open areas can start to feel like checklists between the better story beats. In practice it swings between the comfort of a familiar party-based adventure and the drag of busywork, especially when the game wants the player to gather, close rifts, and move on. Against earlier Dragon Age games, it is broader and more polished in production, but also more padded in structure. Dragon Age Inquisition fits players who like companions, lore, and a long campaign, and it is less convincing for anyone who wants a tight, focused RPG.
