Door Kickers: Action Squad

Door Kickers: Action Squad is the kind of side-scrolling tactical shooter people reach for when they want fast room clearing, exact movement, and the comedy of smashing through doors with too much enthusiasm. By our assessment, its best feature is the clean, readable action: each room is a tiny problem of angles, timing, and whether to kick, shoot, or hold position for a second longer. The cost is that this kind of design rewards repetition and some patience, because the same tight spaces and objective pushes can wear if you want broad variety. In practice it feels like a compact action game with tactical homework attached, but not in a heavy way. It sits between arcade shootouts and slower squad tactics, and that middle spot is where its identity comes from. Door Kickers: Action Squad keeps the focus on route choice, tools, and getting through the next door without making noise with your feet first.
