Distance

Distance asks for patient hands and a taste for movement systems, because the whole game is built around driving, jumping, wall-riding, and survival-style racing through neon courses. By our assessment, its real strength is the way it turns speed into a stunt toolkit rather than a straight race. That also means the learning curve is part of the package, since the game can feel unforgiving until the controls click. In practice it is all timing, momentum, and replaying sections until the route makes sense. It sits in the same rough space as skill-heavy arcade racers and tricky action-platformers, only with a much stranger visual identity. Distance is for players who enjoy mastery more than comfort, and it gives very little to anyone looking for relaxed driving.
