Digimon Masters Online

Digimon Masters Online is a long-running MMO about training Digimon, evolving them, and grinding through quests and battles with other players. By our assessment, the appeal is mainly for people who want a familiar Digimon loop in online form, with collecting and evolution doing most of the work. Its weakness is the usual MMO drag: repetition, menus, and the sense that progress comes in a long haul rather than a neat burst. In practice it means plenty of clicking through systems, managing companions, and spending time on the road between the good bits. It sits as a niche, persistence-heavy alternative to cleaner monster-raising games, and it leans hard on nostalgia and patience. The name says what it is, and the game behaves exactly like that.
