Devolverland Expo

Devolverland Expo is a first-person walkthrough of a fake trade show, built like a playable promo space rather than a normal game with combat or progression. By our assessment, that makes it a neat curiosity for people who enjoy exploring themed environments and seeing how a publisher can turn a marketing event into something you can move through. Its strength is the set dressing and the idea itself; the downside is that it is thin by design, so once the joke lands, there is not much mechanical depth left to uncover. In practice it asks for little besides curiosity and a bit of wandering. It sits outside the usual shooter or puzzle lane and works more like an interactive exhibit. Devolverland Expo is most interesting as a one-off concept, not as a broad replacement for fuller games.
