Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed leans on loud parody and wrecking-ball sandbox action, with the player mostly there to cause chaos as an alien invader. By our assessment, the draw is the tone: it wants to be rude, silly, and openly absurd, and that makes it stand out more than the actual mission structure does. The trade-off is that this kind of joke-heavy action can wear thin if the comedy style does not land, because the game is not trying to be subtle or emotionally deep. In practice it is a bursty third-person game with weapons, powers, and missions built around destruction rather than careful planning. Compared with the rest of the series and with other open-ended action games, it is more about attitude than breadth. The limit is simple: if the parody voice does not click, there is not much else holding it together.
