Destined

Destined is a small action game that asks for timing and patience more than long sessions, and that makes it easy to like in short bursts. By our assessment, its appeal is the clean focus: you are dealing with movement, enemies, and surviving each encounter without a lot of extra systems getting in the way. The downside is also clear, because a stripped-back game lives or dies on how much its core loop holds your attention, and there is not much else to lean on. In practice that means it should feel direct and fairly tense, with little room for drifting or casual button-mashing. Compared with bigger action titles, it sounds more like a compact challenge than a broad adventure. Destined fits people who want a simple game they can learn quickly and replay without a long setup, and it will feel thin to anyone looking for variety or a large world.
